On Sunday 19 January Badminton Otago is holding a Junior badminton open day 2 – 4pm. All abilities and new to badminton welcome, no cost or rsvp, just turn up, coaches will be there to answer all your questions about Term 1 junior badminton.
Badminton Otago wishes everyone a great summer holiday and Merry Christmas. All OBA organised events have wrapped up for the year, with the last day of Junior coaching Sunday 8th December. We look forward to seeing you all in the new year – stay tuned for info on Junior term 1 sign ups and senior events starting up, and we will have an Open Day early 2025. Also our AGM is happening this Tues 10 December at the OBC, 7pm, all welcome.
It was great to have Tracey Hallam in Dunedin last week for badminton coach development. If coaching badminton is something of interest, esp coaching school ages and school groups, please get in touch about coaching development for next year.
The Wednesday night 'A' grade competitive games will continue for 2 more weeks, with the last session for 2024 on Wednesday 13 November. The Thursday night games night continues for another few weeks, ending for 2024 on Thursday 28 November. We hope to see you there to see out the 2024 season!
