Information about Otago rep teams for this year.

Rep team trials – Monday 4 April and Monday 11 April, 7.30-9pm. No cost. Selectors – Andy, Jim, possibly one other.

In the weeks following these 2 Monday trials Otago 1 and Otago 2 rep teams will be announced, 6 ladies and 6 men in each. Very important – if you are trialing then please fill out the doodle poll (link below) indicating your availability for training and events.

Squad training – once selected Otago 1 and Otago 2 players will train at no cost for 2 x 4 week blocks (Mondays 7.30-9pm coached by Andy) (see doodle poll for dates). The Monday sessions with Andy will likely run throughout the year, however the Mondays in between these 4 week blocks will be user pays at $10 cash per night on the night with no need to rsvp in advance.

Compulsory costs if selected in a rep team:

• 2 x new design polo shirts for $35.
• share of car pool petrol for trips away, shared motel accomodation in Christchurch (one night), Invercargill (one night)
• to play for Otago you must be affiliated to the Otago Badminton Association via a club.
  Other costs if selected in a rep team:
• $10 for Monday training/coaching sessions outside of the free 2 x 4 week blocks (strongly encouraged but not compulsory)
• inter club (around $10 a night)

If you are not selected in a rep team you are more than welcome to come to any senior Monday coaching/training with Andy, however it will be $10 cash on the night.
